SuccessMap Land Acknowledgement
We are grateful to conduct our work on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg peoples — the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi nations of the Three Fires Confederacy. This land we call Bradford West Gwillimbury has been home to Indigenous peoples for thousands of years and was cared for with deep reverence and wisdom long before settlers arrived. We acknowledge the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, Beausoleil First Nation, and the Chippewas of Georgina Island, whose presence and contributions continue to shape this region. We also honor the Moose Deer Point First Nation, the Wahta Mohawks, the Georgian Bay and Moon River Métis communities, and the Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Mississauga Nations who have walked these lands throughout history.
We recognize that the relationship between Indigenous peoples and these lands was profoundly disrupted through colonization and broken treaties. As a consulting practice, we are committed to moving beyond words — to listening, learning, and supporting Indigenous voices and communities in meaningful ways. Reconciliation is an ongoing journey, and we pledge to walk that path with respect, humility, and genuine partnership.
